During his daughter’s scheduled trip to Nigeria for an event, the 57-year-old musician shared his reaction.

When Gyakie was six years old, he remembered taking her to the recording studio to record songs.

Up until this point, Nana Acheampong has not regretted exposing her daughter to music and helping her.

The seasoned musician made hints that he was working on unreleased tunes with Gyakie.

He acknowledged that while he always believed in Gyakie’s talent and potential, he was amazed by the speed at which she garnered recognition and appreciation.

The proud father revealed he closely monitors her success and coaches her in a bid to polish her singing prowess.

Drawing from his own experience of three decades in the music scene, he expressed hopes for Gyakie to surpass his achievements.

The veteran also prayed for a solid fanbase and massive support throughout her career.

Gyakie is a renowned Ghanaian musician who has made herself and her country proud, she has featured some A list singers from Nigeria and Ghana too.

One does not need to marvel at where songstress got her talent from given that her dad is an old player in the field, one of the best highlight singers in Ghana.

Gyakie’s father is a pioneer of the Ghanaian highlife music and has been in the business for a very long time.

Both fans of Gyakie and Mr. Acheampong are anticipating a new song from the father and daughter who are both masters in their craft even though they do different music genres.
