Renowned Nigerian actress Chizzy Alichi recently posted a clip from a movie on her social media accounts, which caused quite a stir online.

In her efforts to promote her latest film, “Echoes from the Past,” the movie star took to Instagram to tease fans with a snippet of her intimate bedroom scene alongside colleague Toosweet Annan.

The two, who were pretending to be a married couple, were seen kissing passionately and having a romantic scene in bed when they were discovered.

Many voiced concerns about how her husband would react upon seeing it.


Firing back at one of her critics, Chizzy Alichi didn’t mince words, told them to keep their nose out of her business.

The movie star buried her father, Alex Alichi, in Enugu a few days ago, and now this.

Several of her coworkers, including Stanley Igboanugo, Rachael Okonkwo, Uju Okoli, Browny Igbokwe, and Chiwetalu Agu, attended her funeral on Friday, January 5, in her hometown.

On December 16, 2003, Chizzy posted on Instagram to notify her father’s passing.

She wrote: “My father is gone. Words fail me. My father, my first love. I’m broken, my whole life is turned upside down. This was not our plan.

“Father how can you die without carrying my children? This is too much for me but I cannot question God. I’m glad I gave you almost everything you have ever wished for when you were alive. Rest in peace Father. Please come back to me as soon as possible.

“I don’t understand what’s going on anymore, first call in the morning and it’s the news of your death, can I ever pick any call in the morning again. Please say a prayer for me .”
