Guinness World Record – OAU Student Lands In Hospital

After finishing the hand wash-a-thon for the Guinness World Record, an OAU student ends up in the hospital.

Subair Enitan, a 200-level student at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun state, has arrived at the hospital following her 58-hour hand wash-a-thon.

On Friday afternoon, November 24, Enitan started her quest at the University’s Student Union Building Motor park, where thousands of students supported her. After submitting an application to the Guinness World Record for the task in June of last year, she started the challenge to break the record for the longest hand cloth washing by an individual.

When she finished her 58 hours on Monday, the school ambulance brought her to the facility’s clinic for a check-up.Enitan finished the marathon ahead of schedule, finishing in 58 hours instead of the anticipated 50.

Before leaving for the clinic, Enitan had a brief conversation. She expressed her satisfaction at finishing the assignment in front of her mother, Omogbolabo Afolake, who had been at the location for more than two days.

“I am very fulfilled to have completed the task right in front of my mum, friends and colleagues who thronged this venue to show love and support my ambition,” she said
